The five year anniversary of my wedding! Ferrell and Jay at The Guild: Part Four- Reception Details
It’s been five years since I got married to my favorite person and I haven’t even blogged it yet! So enjoy this series of my wedding photos in several parts. Next up, details from the reception.
As a florist and perfectionist, I wanted to decorate everything myself. Luckily for me, The Guild had no other events that weekend and let us start setting up two days before the wedding. What a dream :))
Since the wedding was in the summer, I wanted the florals to reflect that so I combined seasonal flowers like cosmos, zinnias, scabiosa and smokebush with a mix of summer grasses and dried pieces. But it was really the garden roses from California that stole the show and completed the look.
I’m a more is more kind of person so the tables were full of flowers, plants, rocks, candles, patterns were mixed and an epic sweetheart table was a must. We brought pretty much all the stuff we had from the shop, including a couch for the Photo Booth. I had to go all out!
