The five year anniversary of my wedding! Ferrell and Jay at The Guild: Part Five- Couple Shots

It’s been five years since I got married to my favorite person and I haven’t even blogged it yet! So enjoy this series of my wedding photos in several parts. Next up, some of my favorite bride and groom photos.

After our first look, we headed to Lazia, the light-filled Italian restaurant within the Crossroads Hotel to start taking couple photos. We hit up West Bottoms Whiskey and the Bloch Building at the Nelson Atkins Museum of Art for a few more and then snuck out during the reception for some amazing blue hour shots.

Our photographer is amazing and willing to risk whatever to get the shot so she did not hesitate to lie on the hot parking lot pavement for a blue sky background. We were sweaty and a little drunk but some of my favorite shots of us were in this 15 minute window right after dinner and before the party took off.

Photos from Kaley from Kansas below! Reception moments and dancing coming in the final part!
