Retro Yellow Photoshoot

Another fun shoot from the spring! This one was mid April when yellow flowers are everywhere, so of course we used the bright, happy hue as our main inspiration color.

The shoot had some major, vintage, retro vibes and was styled perfectly by Charity Jean. I mean are you kidding with the dress and veil?? Not to mention the amazing tan tux from Boomerang KC paired with a vintage tee. These two looked so very good :))

Kansas City and Co hosted the day in their midtown location and provided the fun, vintage candelabra that we got to flower. We focused on clusters of flowers to keep the candelabra visible and used bold pastels to compete the look.

The final piece was the monochromatic, yellow bouquet. This baby was full of texture from baby’s breath, strawflower and acacia with some tulips and butterfly ranunculus to soften the look and add a touch of spring.
